At Rs 4.50 to 5 per sq ft per month, an 11,000 sq ft penthouse costs about Rs 55,000 a month to hold, Rs 6.6 lakh a year, plus a one-time Rs 100 per sq ft deposit of about Rs 11 lakh. A 3,500 sq ft 4 BHK is about Rs 17,000 a month. None of this is unusual for a 46-flats-per-acre project with a skywalk and sky lounges; it is simply the number buyers at this ticket forget to put in the model. Running cost is part of the price.
